A Brygg Too Far
Sour - Fruited
7.0% ABV
N/A IBU
A Brygg Too Far takes its name from both language and cinema. Brygg is the Norwegian word for bridge, a nod to its origin as it was created for a restaurant group in Norway. It also references the war epic, A Bridge Too Far, a story about pushing just beyond the sensible crossing point. This blend explores that same space between balance and excess. It pours like spilled twilight, a deep, saturated purple that immediately announces the presence of blueberries. Brewers often avoid them. Their skins can quickly drag a beer into earthy, muddled, compost-like territory. Not here. Instead, they show both range and restraint: bright aromatics up front, a soft, jammy mid-palate, and gentle tannins that add a dry, wine-like structure. The fruit layers perfectly with our pale sour beer base, adding body and juiciness without heaviness. The result is bright yet contemplative. Expressive, but measured. A deliberate crossing. Proof that sometimes going a brygg too far is exactly far enough.
