Light felt, not seen. Warmth without glare. A moment of brightness that exists entirely behind the eyes. Apricots are early by nature, ripening well ahead of other stone fruit. Their name traces back to Latin for “precocious”. Ancient writers described them as peaches that refused to wait. There’s a quiet resilience to that kind of impatience. Apricot trees bloom early, risking frost year after year. Delicate by reputation, they survive by going first. Our base sour always has notes of stone fruit, but with this blend the aroma is uncanny. With your eyes closed, you get the unmistakable smell of the soft fuzz of a just‑picked apricot, flesh still warm from the sun. In the glass it glows a deep, luminous orange. On the palate it’s soft and silky. Liquid velvet. Bright, juicy, and aggressively tart, finishing clean and inward‑looking. Like sunshine on closed eyelids.
